Responsibilities

• Analyse, develop and implement innovative automation strategies and solutions for an existing job scheduling environment (Automic, Python, REST API, Oracle databases, Linux) enhancing efficiency and reliability
• Bring in own ideas and approaches to improve the area
• Create and evaluate potential solution designs
• Develop new automations and integrate new tools to scale the current job development and deployment processes
• Drive standardization and compliance across projects
• Support larger IT projects leveraging more scalable workload automation and job scheduling solutions

Requirements

• Several years ́ experience in software development and engineering, preferably in Python, Java or JavaScript
• Experience in infrastructure-related software solutions and automation
• Good knowledge of APIs (REST, JSON, YAML)
• Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Experience in job scheduling (e.g. Automic, Control-M, Autosys etc.)
• German language skills
